BMW's factory charge pipe on the B58 is made from plastic, a cost-effective choice from the factory, but genuinely prone to becoming brittle and failing under increased boost pressure, especially on tuned or hard-driven cars. FTP Motorsport's Charge Pipe Kit V2.1 replaces both the charge pipe and turbo outlet pipe with a high-quality aluminium alternative, addressing this well-known weak point directly.

Version 2.1 specifically includes two methanol injection bungs, giving you genuine flexibility if you're planning meth injection down the line, with blanking plugs available if you're not using them. The larger-diameter aluminium piping reduces turbulence and maximises flow into the engine compared to the factory pipe's more restrictive design, while remaining a direct bolt-on replacement for straightforward installation without permanent modification.
