Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy - i6tuning.com

Last updated: 02/08/2026

This Warranty Policy explains your rights when a product purchased from INLINE6 sp. z o.o. ("i6tuning", "we", "us") turns out to be defective, and how manufacturer warranties work alongside your statutory legal rights.

1. Your Statutory Legal Warranty (Rękojmia)

Regardless of any manufacturer warranty, all consumers purchasing from i6tuning.com within the EU are protected by the statutory legal warranty for defects (rękojmia) under the Polish Civil Code and the EU Consumer Sales Directive.

  • This covers physical defects and non-conformity with the contract present at the time of delivery, even if they only become apparent later.
  • The statutory warranty period is 2 years from the date of delivery for consumers.
  • If a defect is found within this period, you are entitled to request, in order of your choice (subject to certain legal conditions): repair, replacement, a price reduction, or - in the case of a significant defect - withdrawal from the contract and a refund.
  • This statutory warranty applies regardless of what any individual manufacturer's warranty says, and cannot be limited or excluded for consumer purchases.

2. Manufacturer Warranty

In addition to your statutory rights, many products sold on i6tuning.com carry a separate manufacturer warranty. Because we source parts from a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers:

  • Manufacturer warranty terms, duration, and conditions vary by product and brand. The specific warranty period and coverage (if any) for each item is stated on the individual product page, or available on request before purchase.
  • Where no manufacturer warranty is listed, only the statutory legal warranty described in Section 1 applies.
  • Manufacturer warranty claims may, depending on the brand, require you to go through i6tuning.com as the seller, or in some cases directly through the manufacturer's own service network - we will tell you which applies when you make a claim.
  • A manufacturer warranty is in addition to, and never in place of, your statutory legal rights.

3. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim under either the statutory warranty or a manufacturer warranty:

  1. Contact us at info@inline6.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and photos or video where possible.
  2. We will confirm which warranty applies to your item and the next steps (return for inspection, direct manufacturer claim, etc.).
  3. We aim to respond to warranty claims within 7 business days.

Please retain your proof of purchase (order confirmation/invoice), as it will be required to process any claim.

4. What Warranty Does Not Cover

Warranty coverage - whether statutory or manufacturer-provided - generally does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by incorrect or improper installation, including installation not performed by a qualified mechanic/tuner where the product requires professional fitting.
  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or alteration of the product after purchase.
  • Wear and tear from normal use, or damage from use in racing, track days, off-road, or other non-road-legal competitive use, unless the product is explicitly marketed and sold as suitable for such use.
  • Damage caused by using the part on a vehicle or application it was not designed or sold for.
  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect function.
  • Defects caused by accident, external impact, or use of the product alongside incompatible parts.

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights regarding defects that were present at the time of delivery.

5. Dropshipped / Supplier-Fulfilled Items

Some products are shipped directly by our suppliers rather than from our own stock. Regardless of who ships the item, INLINE6 sp. z o.o. remains responsible for handling your warranty claim as the seller of record - you do not need to contact the supplier directly.
