Eventuri Volkswagen Golf R MK8 Carbon Fibre Intake System

Taking direct cues from Eventuri's proven RS3 intake, the Carbon Fibre Intake System for the MK8 Golf R is a complete redesign of the stock intake all the way to the turbo inlet - maximising use of the available space to create a system that caters for everything from a completely stock car to high-power builds running hybrid or full-frame turbos. Every component is engineered to give the turbo a smooth, free-flowing path while keeping intake air temperatures at a genuine minimum.

The restrictive stock 73mm diameter inlet tube is replaced with a larger 94mm diameter tube, matched to the Venturi housing's outlet for a smooth transition with no step change in diameter to disrupt flow. The bespoke filter carries a 192mm (7.5") outer diameter with over 110,000mm² of filtration surface area, and because the entire system is built from pure pre-preg carbon fibre rather than fibreglass, it insulates against heat while keeping internal surfaces smooth rather than marked by sharp resin lines. Independently tested by in the UK - back-to-back, same day, stock airbox tested first - the system showed gains of up to 20hp and 30Nm across the RPM range, with results even more noticeable on the road than on the dyno.
