Eventuri Volkswagen Golf GTI MK8 Carbon Fibre Intake System

Taking direct cues from Eventuri's proven RS3 intake, the Carbon Fibre Intake System for the MK8 Golf GTI is a complete redesign of the stock intake all the way to the turbo inlet - maximising use of the available engine bay space to create a system that offers the highest possible flow rate while keeping intake air temperatures to a genuine minimum. Every component is engineered to give the turbo a smooth, free-flowing path from filter to inlet.

The restrictive stock 73mm diameter inlet tube is replaced with a larger 94mm diameter tube, fed by a patented carbon Venturi housing designed to maximise internal volume for the GTI's specific engine bay space and deliver laminar flow to the turbo tube. The carbon duct seals the filter opening to the front slam panel while adding an extra opening behind the hood - equivalent to an additional 7" diameter hole - so the intake isn't limited to just the stock entry feed. Flow bench testing confirmed 618 CFM versus 435 CFM stock.
