Eventuri Honda FK8 Civic Type R Carbon Fibre Intake System

The result of extensive design iteration, dyno testing, and flow analysis, the Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake System for the FK8 Type R was developed to solve two specific problems: keeping inlet temperatures low, and de-restricting the turbo inlet path. The factory airbox draws air from a single entry duct behind the front bumper measuring just 35cm² - a genuine restriction under turbo demand. Simply opening up the filter isn't the answer either, since it sits directly behind the radiator and would quickly saturate with heat once the engine warms up.

Eventuri's solution keeps the filter fully enclosed inside a sealed carbon airbox, using the factory hood seal to block engine bay heat, while adding a secondary feed that opens up the inlet area by a further 28cm² - almost doubling the total cross-sectional area available to the turbo compared to the stock single-entry design. The restrictive flexible factory tubing is replaced entirely with an optimised inlet path and Venturi stack connected directly to the filter. The result is an immediate, dyno-proven gain across the entire RPM range of 14-20hp and 22-29ft-lb, with V-Box testing showing 60-130mph acceleration reduced by a substantial 1.2 seconds.
