Eventuri BMW M3 (E90/E92/E93) Carbon Fibre Intake System

Even one of the best-designed factory intake systems around had room for improvement - that's the challenge Eventuri took on with the Carbon Fibre Intake System for the E9X M3. The stock S65 airbox is genuinely well engineered, but closer inspection revealed real restrictions in the inlet tube connecting the airbox to the manifold: stock tubes rely on two concertina sections for flexibility, each introducing internal interfaces that disrupt airflow into turbulence.

Eventuri's one-piece carbon replacement tube has zero internal interfaces, transitioning smoothly from a circular filter opening to an oval manifold exit - a far more efficient shape change than the stock tube's rectangular-to-oval transition. A carbon fibre inlet scoop addresses a further restriction identified in the air feed system, reprofiling the lower front duct to eliminate a ridge and delivering almost 50% higher airspeed into the airbox, which also drops intake air temperatures meaningfully (stock 7.5°C above ambient vs Eventuri's 4.5°C). The results are dyno-proven: 8-10hp and 10-12ft-lb on the dyno, with real-world road dyno testing showing 16hp and 14Nm, and 100-200kph acceleration reduced by 0.3 seconds.
