The Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake System for the SQ8's 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 is a ground-up redesign of the entire air inlet track, not a simple filter swap. The factory airbox lid itself is the first constraint tackled - its shallow design restricts both the flow collector size and the filtration media that can be used. Eventuri's raised, prepreg carbon fibre lid uses the same factory mounting points but creates space for a significantly larger flow collector and higher-capacity cone filters.
The turbo inlets themselves see up to a 43% increase in cross-sectional area versus stock, engineered with Eventuri's signature dimpled internal surface to maintain a thin cushion of air along the inlet walls and reduce frictional losses. The result is flow bench-proven: 840 CFM versus 530 CFM stock. Dyno testing on a completely stock vehicle (intake changed alone) showed 14-20hp and 17-21ft-lb, while a Stage 1-tuned baseline with the intake added showed 25-28hp and 20-23ft-lb - with turbos reaching peak boost earlier and a reduced wastegate duty cycle across the rev range.
