Developed to give the 2.0 TFSI a genuinely less restrictive airflow path while keeping inlet temperatures firmly in check, the Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake System addresses a specific challenge on the S1: its engine bay heat soaks very quickly, so a simple open cone filter would trade better airflow for worse intake temperatures. Eventuri's answer was to completely re-engineer the inlet system rather than accept that compromise.

The cuboid-shaped stock airbox is replaced with Eventuri's patent-pending carbon fibre Venturi housing, providing an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from filter to turbo tube - not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a design that keeps airflow genuinely laminar for improved turbo efficiency. A true cold air feed, added via a scoop to the front grille, delivers the lowest possible inlet air temperature, and independent testing has recorded a genuine gain of 17hp.
