Dorch Engineering B58 Gen 1 Flex Fuel ECA Kit

With MHD and Bootmod3's newer features, Gen 1 B58 tuning software now supports true CAN-based Flex Fuel tuning, and Dorch Engineering offers their own plug-and-play ECA (ethanol content analyser) solution built around it, removing much of the need for older Bluetooth-based ethanol sensors. A CAN-based ethanol sensor doesn't just monitor ethanol content, it directly communicates with the DME for full Flex Fuel operation.

With a Flex Fuel tune in place, the DME automatically adjusts between a high-powered E85 map, a pump gas map, and everything in between, all happening live, on the fly, based on real-time CAN communication with the sensor. No more doing math at the gas pump to work out which map to flash or how many gallons of ethanol to mix in.

Installation involves genuinely zero cutting and zero wire-taps. The kit is fully reversible and truly plug-and-play, with wiring integrating directly into the OEM harness, and hoses and the sensor tucking seamlessly enough to allow full reinstallation of all OEM sound insulation foam and engine covers, no compromised fit, no visible modification.

If you already own one of Dorch Engineering's ECA hose/sensor sets, an "electronics only" package is available to upgrade to CAN-ECA.
