do88 VAG MQB 1.8 / 2.0 TSI Intake System V1

This kit is designed for the demanding user with high power goals who wants to keep a clean, almost factory look intake system. do88's performance air intake system eliminates the bottlenecks in the factory air intake system while maintaining that OEM-style appearance under the hood.

The bottom section of the factory airbox easily supports power levels up to 500hp, but the factory airbox lid and ducting to the turbo inlet are genuinely too restrictive for higher power levels. do88 focused specifically on eliminating these bottlenecks in the airbox lid and turbo inlet ducting. The design features a one-piece plastic moulded upper airbox lid with a 3 1/8in (80mm) intake duct, engineered with perfectly smooth transitions to vastly reduce turbulence and restrictions before the turbo inlet. This way, you keep the clean, almost factory-look air intake system while still supporting high power levels up to 500hp, a genuine 100% bolt-on with no modifications to the car required.

Optional additions available: an upgraded BMC high-flow panel filter to replace the factory paper filter for increased flow and perfect filtration, and do88's own 3in turbo inlet pipe to further upgrade the turbo intake system, do88 specifically recommends pairing this intake with their 3in inlet pipe, as the two are matched to each other for the best possible uniform flow.
