MERA, as in "more," means more cooling, better airflow, more performance. Simply, MERA. The intercoolers feature cast end tanks that distribute airflow across the full core with genuine precision, a real factor in both pressure drop and cooling efficiency. To fit an appropriately thick core, do88 also designed a new upper ambient air guide in a 3D-scanned environment, ensuring a perfect fit to both the vehicle-integrated air guides and the intercooler itself.
To further remove bottlenecks, connections are enlarged to 70mm (2¾in), with all-new, 3D-designed, CFD-tested hoses at every position. The hoses on the turbo outlet are made from a high-temp spec material, rated to 240°C (464°F) continuous temperature. Carbon fibre ambient air guides come with proper seals against the body, forcing all air through the core rather than escaping around it.
The numbers: a 30% higher airflow at 0.075 bar/1.09psi pressure drop (236 CFM versus 181 CFM stock), and a 10°C lower inlet air temperature under identical conditions (24°C versus 34°C stock). Real-world testing used an AIM race logger across three consecutive full-throttle runs (50-240km/h) on a Porsche 991.2 Carrera, no cooldown between pulls, first with OE parts, then a fast swap to do88's intercoolers for three identical runs.
