The S58 engine's cooling system uses three frontal radiators in total, one large central radiator and two smaller auxiliary radiators, one positioned in front of each wheel. Tuned engines produce significantly more heat, and the factory auxiliary radiators, with their slim cores and plastic tanks, genuinely struggle to keep pace during intense street, track, or drag strip driving.
do88's engineers took advantage of the available design space on both sides of the car to increase both frontal surface area and core thickness beyond the factory specification. The OE radiator is identical on both sides, and do88's Performance Radiator is designed the same way, a genuine drop-in replacement for either the left or right position, making it straightforward to stock or carry as a spare.
