do88 BMW S55 M2C/M3/M4 (F87/F80/F82/F83) Turbo Inlets

The S55 twin-turbo engine powering the M2 Competition, M3, and M4 F8X is equipped with genuinely restrictive inlet pipes to the turbochargers, and reducing that restriction on the inlet side matters a great deal on any performance build. do88's answer minimises the airflow restriction just before the turbochargers themselves.

Rather than guessing at fitment, do88 conducted a detailed 3D-scan of an actual M3 Competition engine bay to design these inlets, working within an extremely limited available space. The final package includes both front and rear turbo inlets, the rear consisting of a custom-designed aluminium pipe with a welded, CNC-machined turbo connection radius flange, and the front a 3D freeform-designed, steel wire-reinforced silicone hose connecting to the turbocharger via a CNC-machined radius adapter, with matte black hose clamps included for a clean, stealthy look. Compared to the factory pipes, the diameter increases to 63mm (versus the OEM's 55mm), a genuine 33% larger flow area, delivering 778 CFM versus the OEM's 690 CFM at 75mbar/1.09psi pressure drop, a 13% higher flow.
