do88 BMW N55 F2X / F3X / M2 F87 Chargepipe

The charge pipe carries intake flow from the intercooler into the intake plenum. The stock BMW charge pipe is made from bendable plastic, adequate for low and mid-RPM flow, but genuinely insufficient at high RPM where the maximum amount of air needs to pass through. The N55 M2 in particular suffers from noticeable horsepower loss above 6500rpm revving to 7000rpm, making this a logical upgrade even on a completely standard engine.

do88's replacement is manufactured from 3in mandrel-bent seamless aluminium tubing with a CNC-machined sensor flange for a precise fit, paired with custom high-quality silicone hose reinforced with four layers of polyester/aramid for genuine high-temperature and high-pressure tolerance. Independent flow bench testing on do88's own SuperFlow SF-1020 confirmed airflow of 680 CFM at 0.075 bar/1.09psi pressure drop, versus the OEM's 460 CFM, a genuine 48% improvement. Two 1/8-27 NPT methanol injection connections are included, supplied with blanking plugs if not in use.

Please note: the OEM intercooler pipes and hoses were designed for the power level the car was built for. Only after an engine software tune will this pipe deliver a genuine performance increase over the OEM version on a stock car, on tuned or hard-driven cars, it also addresses the OEM's tendency to fail or deform under elevated boost.
