The core uses advanced aerospace technology for efficient heat transfer, with custom-designed cast end tanks distributing airflow evenly across the core. The included charge pipe kit is designed specifically to complement and further improve on the intercooler's performance: the OEM charge pipes have several inefficient, flow-reducing bends, while do88's pipes are both significantly larger and fully flow-optimised, delivering 31% more airflow than OEM. On the hot side, a large 70mm (2¾in) aluminium pipe replaces the OEM's restrictive flat-design section, and on the cold side, a cast aluminium charge pipe runs the full length from throttle body to intercooler outlet, with a substantial 86mm hose connection (versus the OEM's 64mm) matched precisely to the intercooler's own 80mm connection for a genuinely smooth transition. Two CNC-machined 1/8 NPT connections are included for methanol injection or a boost pressure sensor, and the kit comes complete with all necessary installation accessories.
