CSF Toyota Supra MK5 High Performance Transmission Oil Cooler

To ensure exceptional performance and long transmission life, keeping the transmission oil cool is essential, and CSF is the world leader in  cooling technology, drawing on experience developed with BMW's popular S55 platform and applying that knowledge, through the shared engineering partnership between BMW and Toyota, to the GR Supra's ZF 8HP transmission. During R&D, CSF consulted with a network of partners, including leading time attack teams and tuners, and the feedback was consistent: gearbox fatigue and sluggish shifting as transmission temperatures crept up under prolonged or hard use.

CSF's answer is an innovative, industry-exclusive dual-core design, using two 16mm stacked cores for a total 32mm core width (44mm overall), delivering a 240% increase in core volume and a 130% increase in fluid capacity over the OEM's single 15mm core (550ml versus the OEM's roughly 240ml). The rear cooler carries 15 rows versus the OEM's 12, with the front cooler adding a further 12 rows, and 5.4mm tall multi-louvered fins replace the OEM's 7mm fins for genuinely maximised surface area contact. Built using CSF's AC condenser technology with a 1-row, super-high-pressure 16mm, 9-channel microtube, the overall height increases only slightly to 129mm (versus the OEM's 125mm), delivering maximum performance without increasing overall surface area or blocking airflow to the rest of the cooling system. This cooler has been genuinely proven in the most demanding environment possible, installed in the world's fastest A90 Supra, the first and only Supra to reach the 8-second quarter mile.

Works with: Drop-in fit designed to work with either the OEM Front Mount Heat Exchanger or CSF's own High-Performance version (#8154). OEM top/bottom rubber ducting can be reinstalled on the CSF cooler for improved airflow.
