But over time, the most serious competitors wanted more - so CSF partnered again with VF Engineering and Custom Plenum Creations to develop the Race X Charge-Air-Cooler Manifold, purpose-built for high-level motorsport competition and racing applications where the Super Manifold's already-high limits still aren't quite enough.
The core is 25% larger than the standard Super Manifold, with 15 rows of water cooling versus the Super Manifold's 12 rows and the OEM's just 6 - a genuinely substantial jump in cooling capacity. The core can be configured for dual or single-pass flow, with a -16 ORB bung on the front water end plate allowing you to switch configurations or integrate an ice-box setup for maximum-effort runs, complete with a CNC-machined plug for dual-pass use. Designed in SolidWorks using Computational Fluid Dynamics, with an integrated air divider in the inlet tank for even distribution, this is the most versatile and largest manifold available on the market - race tested through 2023 on some of the fastest B58-powered drag and time attack cars in the world.
