The factory fans on the 944 and 924S are still functional, but it's a design dating back to the 1980s that leaves plenty of room for improvement. Electric fan technology has come a long way since then, with newer fans able to move significantly more air while drawing less from your car's electrical system. CSF's All-Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit brings that modern efficiency to your classic Porsche.

A laser-cut, all-aluminium shroud ensures the fans draw air through the radiator as efficiently as possible, housing a pair of low-profile 9-inch SPAL fans that move a combined 1180 CFM of air. The kit is designed as an optional upgrade to pair with CSF's own High-Performance Radiator (#7088), but also fits OEM 944 NA radiators directly.

Works with: CSF #7088 Radiator or OEM 944 NA radiators - will not fit OEM Turbo radiators.

Why Choose This Fan & Shroud Kit

  • Laser-cut all-aluminium shroud - maximises efficient airflow through the radiator core
  • Dual 9-inch SPAL fans - move a combined 1180 CFM, a genuine step up from the factory design
  • Lower electrical draw than OEM fans - modern fan technology, less strain on your electrical system
  • Fits CSF #7088 or OEM 944 NA radiators - flexible depending on your current setup
  • Satin black finish - clean, understated presentation
  • Includes all necessary mounting hardware

Compatibility

  • Porsche 944 (NA, 1983-1991) — fits with CSF #7088 or OEM NA radiator
  • Porsche 924S (1986-1988)

Not compatible with: OEM 944 Turbo radiators - this kit is designed for NA radiator dimensions only

Connector Note

Fan plugs are standard SPAL connectors - confirm with your supplier whether your specific unit requires splicing into the OE harness or arrives pre-wired with OEM-style connectors, as this has varied across production runs.
