CSF Ford GT 2005-2006 High-Performance Transaxle Cooler Kit

Most Ford GT owners know how hot the transmission can get, even on just a casual drive. Some buyers opted for the dealer-optioned transaxle cooler from Ford Motorsport at the time, but plenty of GTs left the showroom without one, and with that OEM part now discontinued, the only previous options for upgrades or replacements were custom builds or kits assembled from universal cores. CSF changes that with this complete bolt-on kit, built around a custom core designed specifically for the Ford GT.

The original OE transaxle cooler worked fairly well given the design and cooler technology of its era, but there's genuine room for improvement in both the cooler itself and the original lines. Compared to the Ford Motorsport unit, CSF's cooler delivers 90% more core volume and is almost double the thickness, using a robust 55mm thick bar/plate design. CSF's "Aero-Flow" bar design offers the best possible heat dissipation while staying lightweight and strong, maintaining maximum flow throughout. The lines' inner diameter has also been increased for better flow and maximum efficiency, using motorsport-grade lines with patented quick-release fittings. Extruded end tanks are 100% TIG-welded for genuine strength, and pre-plugged optional 1/8in NPT ports are included for temperature sensors if you want to monitor fluid temps directly. Laser-cut mounting brackets and line clips bolt into the factory location, and a machined hard plastic low-profile clamshell guide accommodates the larger cooler size, for a true plug-and-play, drop-in fit requiring no modifications.
