CSF Ford F-150 Raptor 3.5L V6 EcoBoost 2017-2025 Transmission Oil Cooler

The 13th and 14th generation F-150s received what many would consider undersized transmission oil coolers, and some models like the Raptor even have a second stack-style cooler to try to improve cooling performance. Sadly, this setup still comes up short for many owners, when transmission fluid temperatures spike under heavy towing or intense off-road use, performance and longevity suffer.

CSF's replacement uses their AC condenser technology with a super-high-pressure, multi-channel microtube design, paired with 8 rows of 8mm tall multi-louvered fins for exceptional cooling surface area and oil flow. This delivers 40% larger core dimensions than the OEM unit (3.7 x 29.2in versus the factory's 2.5 x 20.1in), genuinely outperforming even the dual-cooler configuration found on Raptor and other high-performance models. Important fitment note: not all F-150s came equipped with a front-mounted transmission oil cooler from the factory. Visually verify, or check with a Ford dealer, that your specific vehicle has either OEM part FL3Z-7A095-A or HL3Z-7A095-A (you should be able to see the cooler and mounting cradle behind the front grille). If your F-150 instead has the transmission-mounted cooler (OEM part ML3Z-7869-C, found on some 2018 models), this cooler will not fit without modification, retrofitting would require running new ATF lines to the front of the truck first.
