Through conversations with well-known figures in car culture, several of them avid classic Audi enthusiasts, it came to CSF's attention that there simply weren't any high-quality performance radiators available for many classic Audi 5-cylinder models, including the B2, B3, B4, and Ur Quattro. Making things worse, the OEM radiator is no longer available at all for the highly sought-after B4 S2/RS2. The 2-row, 42mm aluminium core not only increases fluid capacity over the original brazed copper and brass design, but also improves the core's ability to dissipate heat, using CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology to increase heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. The radiator can be configured to work with or without an auxiliary front radiator and factory air conditioning, and multiple fan shroud mounting points allow factory fans from all applications to be mounted without modification. The top end tank includes multiple overflow pipe connection points to suit factory configuration across every covered application, and the core is reinforced with additional straps for genuine strength and rigidity. CSF's thin, ultra-efficient core means the radiator mounts in the factory location using the original ducting, requiring no modifications or cutting, unlike other aftermarket aluminium radiators on the market that use a bulkier 3-row core and typically demand cutting to fit.
