CSF BMW B58 Gen 2 Thermal Rejection Competition Charge Air Manifold Spacer

CSF's own Super Manifold (#8200) is constructed from billet aluminium and 100% TIG-welded for genuine strength, handling far higher boost pressures than the OEM plastic manifold ever could. But that strength comes with a trade-off: aluminium's higher thermal conductivity means more heat transfers between the cylinder head and manifold than the factory plastic design allowed. This spacer solves that specific problem, absorbing and dissipating heat from the cylinder head before it reaches the manifold.

Made from KIYLEX, a patented, revolutionary high-performance polymer as strong as aluminium yet capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1100°F, this spacer creates a genuine thermal barrier between the intake manifold and cylinder head. Compatibility

• BMW B58 Gen 2 (B58B30M1, B58B30C, B58B30O1) only

Not compatible with: the newer B58N (B58TU2/B58B30M2), which uses a different, non-interchangeable manifold (BMW 11-61-7-952-861). 48V mild hybrid models will require modifications to the alternator.

Installation Note
