CSF Audi RS6/RS7 (C8) Radiators Intercooler Set

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 in the C8 RS6 and RS7 starts to experience genuinely debilitating heat soak and progressively increasing intake air temperatures on the OEM intercoolers, which forces the ECU to pull engine timing and drastically decrease power output. Documented dyno testing shows the OEM intercoolers already starting to lose ground by the third consecutive pull, with intake air temperatures climbing steadily as engine speed increases.

Developed through CSF's strategic partnership with PWR, this intercooler set uses a genuine Formula-1 grade core unlike anything else available in the performance aftermarket. Where the OEM core uses 22 tubes at 7mm tube height and 7mm fin height, CSF's design nearly doubles that with 45 tubes at just 3mm tube height and a 4.85mm multi-louvered fin, a fundamentally different approach that increases pressure drop slightly but dramatically increases heat rejection potential. The same dyno graphs that showed OEM heat soak by the third pull show the CSF-equipped car's temperature actually dropping as engine speed increases, with very quick recovery between pulls, on both a stock tune and a Stage 2-tuned car. CNC-machined billet aluminium end tanks, 100% TIG-welded, replace the OEM's crimped cast aluminium end tanks and gasket design, a genuine strength and durability upgrade ready for increased boost from performance tunes or upgraded turbochargers. Independent dyno testing recorded gains of 20whp/18wtq on a Stage 1 tune and 10whp/20wtq on a Stage 2 tune.
