CSF Audi B8 S4/S5 & 3.0L/3.2L Audi Models High-Performance Radiator

CSF continues to expand its VAG cooling performance catalogue with genuinely unique, world's-first options, and the ever-popular B8 Audi S4/S5 platform was next on the list. The opportunity to develop this radiator for the 3.0L TFSI supercharged V6 was brought to CSF by a European Audi specialist who approached them directly to ensure their own 2020 B8 S4 giveaway car build was kept cool. CSF used that real-world development and marketing vehicle to make sure fitment for this genuinely complex radiator was a true drop-in fit, requiring no modifications to install.

The 2-row, 42mm high-performance core uses CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology. Rather than a regular oval "O"-shaped tube, a specially engineered "B"-shaped tube is carefully formed and brazed over the seam, increasing heat transfer surface area by approximately 15% over regular tubes while allowing for thinner, lighter aluminium construction that's genuinely stronger than a normal welded design. Ultra-efficient 6.5mm tall multi-louvered fins maximise surface area contact, and precise CNC-machined fittings and brackets handle the ease of installation into this platform's genuinely complex plastic housing system, including an OEM-style wire harness bracket to secure the harness running across the top of the radiator. A genuinely practical addition: an upgraded plate-type transmission oil cooler is built into the left side tank for improved cooling on automatic transmission vehicles, and comes pre-plugged for straightforward use on manual transmission cars.
