Akrapovič BMW XM (G09) Sound Kit

The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit enables owners of selected Akrapovič car exhausts to control the sound of the system directly from the cockpit of the BMW XM. Using Akrapovič's own technology, drivers can easily switch between a quiet mode and a genuinely sportier, more dynamic sound, on demand rather than tied purely to the car's drive mode.

The kit includes a receiver, already built into the Evolution system, that drives the actuators responsible for opening or closing the valves at the end of the exhaust system. These valves can be controlled either through Akrapovič's dedicated Sound Remote Controller, or through their newer smartphone app, available for both iOS and Android, giving you genuine flexibility in how you manage the exhaust note day to day. When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) and its associated Evolution Link Pipe Set, independent dyno testing confirmed genuine gains of 25.8kW (35.0hp) and 47.7Nm of torque, both at 5,150rpm, against a BMW XM Label with an M exhaust system.

Important: using this optional Sound Kit invalidates ECE type approval for the exhaust system it's fitted to. Developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only.
