Offering a noticeable weight saving, increased power and torque, and a genuinely dramatic soundtrack, the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) is constructed from lightweight, high-grade titanium and completed with hand-crafted carbon-fibre tailpipes, bringing out the true character of the current-generation M340i and M440i, including the M440i Gran Coupe. This system delivers an 11.89kg weight saving over the standard stock system, an incredible 33% difference, alongside dyno-proven gains of 3.4kW (4.6hp) and 12.4Nm of torque, both at 2,650rpm, tested against a factory M440i with a standard stock exhaust.

An exhilarating soundtrack is delivered through genuinely special components fitted throughout the system. Where the factory exhaust uses a single valve, this Slip-On Line features two, calibrated specifically to tailor the sound character, paired with two acoustic reflectors fitted on the tailpipes that guide sound directly into the car's cabin, producing a fully immersive experience for driver and passengers alike, real thrills and enjoyment rather than sound that's mostly audible from outside the car. Because the system has an additional valve over the stock configuration, and because Akrapovič takes calibration seriously, this system meets ECE type approval and requires no remapping in this configuration, a genuinely straightforward upgrade from a fitment and legality standpoint.

Valve housings and collectors are cast in Akrapovič's own in-house titanium foundry, the same manufacturing precision that underpins all of Akrapovič's titanium exhaust ranges, and the tailpipes are hand-crafted to a genuinely high standard rather than mass-produced.

Optional upgrades available: Akrapovič also offers a matching Evolution Link Pipe Set for this platform, which further deepens the exhaust note and adds additional weight savings when combined with this Slip-On Line, alongside an optional Sound Kit that lets you control the exhaust valves independently of the car's drive mode.
