Rather than treating the link pipe as a mere accessory, Akrapovič engineers and tests the two components together as one system, ensuring the added mid-section genuinely complements the rear section's design rather than being an afterthought bolted onto it.

The link pipe replaces a section of the factory mid-pipe with a purpose-built design that blends exhaust flow more effectively between cylinders, deepening the tone and adding a genuinely richer, more resonant character throughout the rev range compared to the Slip-On Line alone, building on that system's already impressive foundation of two valves and integrated acoustic reflectors that direct sound into the cabin. Complex components across the whole system, including valve housings and collectors, are cast in Akrapovič's own in-house titanium foundry, the same manufacturing precision that underpins all of Akrapovič's titanium exhaust ranges. Combined, the two components also shed further weight over the factory system beyond what the Slip-On Line achieves by itself, building on that already substantial 33% weight saving with additional reduction from the link pipe.

The Slip-On Line's dual-valve calibration is retained throughout this combination, so you still get a refined, civilised character at cruising speeds that opens into a properly deep, sporty note under acceleration, now with the added depth and resonance the link pipe brings to that upper end of the sound profile. Hand-crafted carbon-fibre tailpipes are included as standard with this system.

Important: installing the Evolution Link Pipe Set invalidates ECE type approval for the exhaust system, and in most cases requires an ECU remap to prevent a check engine light warning, unlike the Slip-On Line alone, which requires neither.
