At the core of the system is a receiver, already integrated as part of the Evolution system, which drives the actuators responsible for physically opening or closing the valves at the end of the exhaust. You can regulate these valves in two ways: through Akrapovič's dedicated Sound Remote Controller, a simple, purpose-built hardware unit, or through their smartphone app, available for both iOS and Android, giving you genuinely flexible, on-the-fly control without needing a separate physical remote rattling around in the car.

Specifically matched to OPF/GPF-equipped M2 Competition models, this Sound Kit is designed to work correctly alongside Akrapovič's own exhaust systems for this particulate-filter-equipped platform, letting you get the deeper, more resonant Evolution Line character for weekend or track driving, while still being able to dial things back to something more neighbour-friendly for the daily commute.
