Even the Virtual Cockpit, however, doesn't show the data that matters once you start modifying, so boost, intake temps, oil temps and timing stay out of sight. The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 puts all of that right in front of you. It replaces your air vent insert with a 2.8" touchscreen display that fits the B9 interior like an original part.

Why this display

OEM look. The vehicle-specific bezel is made for the A4 B9 and A5 F5, and air still flows past the display, so your vent keeps working.

Live data from your ECU. It reads all the data from your engine control unit over CAN bus, using Audi's own UDS and TP2 protocols.

Detailed engine values. See rpm, gear, battery voltage, total ignition angle and even ignition angle correction per cylinder, which is ideal for spotting knock on a tuned engine.

Flex fuel ready. Four analog inputs let you add extra sensors, like oil pressure or EGT, and you can connect an ethanol content sensor directly to the display.

CAN switching. You can even use the display as a keypad and send your own CAN messages to the car.

Fully configurable. Navigate with swipe gestures, design your own pages, and add your own pictures or a custom start animation.

What's new in Gen2

Gen2 brings sharper graphics with improved anti-aliasing, swipe navigation, more precise widget adjustment and new warning pop-ups.

Fitment

Audi A4 B9, including S4 and RS4

Audi A5 F5 (B9), including S5 and RS5

Left-hand drive (LHD) only

What's included

MFD28 Gen2 display, integrated in the vent insert for LHD vehicles

Quickstart guide

USB data cable

SD card adapter

Connection cable

SD card

Display protection film

Installation

CANchecked provides illustrated installation instructions for most models, so you can fit it yourself without a workshop.

Why buy from i6 Tuning

Every part we sell is genuine and sourced directly from the brand, shipped fast across the EU.
